After having dabbled in different martial arts styles, I moved to Ottawa to pursue a degree in Criminology at the University of Ottawa. It was there I found my calling in Can Ryu Jiu Jitsu.

 

The Therien Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing curriculum has given me outstanding training and teaching experiences, including competing in grappling, point fighting and demonstrations.

 

I have experience teaching women's self defence through the City of Ottawa, as well as teaching students in wheelchairs through the Canadian Adaptive Martial Arts Alliance.
